Originally from the Czech Republic, Lucie finally took the plunge and moved down south. She is now finishing her PhD in Political Sociology at Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence, Italy, exploring artistic movements and their role in bringing down dictatorships. While not at university, she focuses on freelance (documentary) filmmaking and podcast editing and works as a contributing writer to both research and lifestyle media outlets.
