As the Lazy Women logo suggests, we enjoy a glass of wine (or two…) alone, with friends, and with other loved ones.
But how much time do we take to consider where that wine comes from, how much effort it took to make, and what’s really in the glass?
In our latest podcast episode, natural wine consultant and creator of Natúr Magazin, Rebeka Gyorfi, chats with winemaker and owner of Maison Maenad, Katie Worobeck. Hailing from Canada and now based in Jura, France, Katie talks about her journey into the world of wine, the decision to move – and ultimately stay – in France, and the ups and downs of living in a small rural community.
They cover everything from wellbeing and self-care, to social and ecological justice, to the complexities of being a sober-curious wine producer – all within the context of being a woman in a male-dominated industry. So grab a beverage of choice, tune in and enjoy!
